It has only been a few days since tons of producers were tweeting the cryptic call to action emails they were receiving. We tried and tried to put the pieces together, but luckily, the wait is over! Here’s your hint: CYCLOPS ARMY, ASSEMBLE! Yup, you guessed it. The king of dubstep himself, Subtronics, has started his very own label entitled Cyclops Recordings!

Cyclops Recordings launches its very first mission THIS Friday, December 4th.

Subtronics hinted at this surprise just yesterday, posting up in an army jacket painted by the notable Aaron Brooks. I think I can speak for a lot of us when I say, we did not see this coming! Now that we know the cryptic emails were all related to this, everything seems to make sense. With a roster like EAZYBAKED, G-Space, smith., akeos, Molokai, Al Ross, Jiqui, Kill Feed, Leotrix, Control Freak, and Vanfleet, our eyes and ears peeled on the label’s socials.

Excited is an understatement.

Subtronics is known for bringing insanely forward-thinking releases to the table. His production style is groundbreaking and truly sets the bar high. With that being said, there is no doubt in our minds that the artists he has picked out to be a part of Cyclops Recordings are just as phenomenal! And Jesse, if you are reading this, huge props to you for using your platform to lift up smaller artists and continuing to enrich the bass music scene.
