In efforts to contributing to BLM related causes, Eprom and Zeke Beats stepped up to plate. The two committed to releasing the stems to their collaboration, “Humanoid 2.0,” with proof of donation for a limited time.
Not only did they end up raising over $10,000 (!!!) for amazing organizations, but it also wound up leading to some seriously talented remixes. One of those being from a favorite of ours, Floret Loret.
Time and time again, Floret Loret has consistently released intoxicatingly good music. From his Secluded Garden EP on Deadbeats to his most recent flip of “Jagged Roots,” the Florida-based producer has truly found his knack and capitalized on it.
This time around, he flips “Humanoid 2.0” upside down on its head. While still maintaining the body and integrity of the original track, Floret puts his own spin on it by adding luminous percussion and cascading soundscapes. Think “technology meets nature” and you’ve nailed it.
