After his explosive single, “Want It,” rising producer Kumarion has returned with his new 2-track EP, Closer/Wanna. We already had our eyes on this natural talent in the underground bass scene, even featuring him on our second weekend of Harmony festival, but this EP further confirms that he’s only just getting started.
With basslines so heavy you can feel them in your chest, “Closer” is drenched in allure and explores the limits of halftime. In contrast, “Wanna” speeds up the pace, perfectly juxtaposing the first track. Immediately luring listeners in with a head-bobbing intro, Kumarion shows us a fresh, forward thinking take on drum and bass.
