This past weekend, fan-favorite, Porter Robinson, brought his Second Sky Music Festival back to the Bay. After a year off, and a Secret Sky live stream to tide us over, Porter really gave the people what they wanted.
This was the live debut of his latest project, Nurture. But don’t fret – Porter made sure to still play out tracks we all know and love off his legendary album, Worlds. We were also graced with the talents of KNOWER, WAVEDASH, Jacob Collier, Jon Hopkins, Toro Y Moi, Jai Wolf, and Madeon.
Leave it to Porter to completely transform an arena parking lot into this…
With the help of Nassal and B Morrow Productions, Second Sky was an immersive and breathtakingly beautiful experience. They are the builders of Universal’s Harry Potter World, Disney’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and the forthcoming Avatar theme park!

Ahh, can’t forget the Potaro themed food. It was so delicious!

Second Sky has us longing for Porter’s upcoming tour, Nurture Live!
If you weren’t able to make it to Second Sky, have no fear! Porter will be kicking off his U.S. tour TODAY in Eugene, Oregon. The tour spans a few months and hits almost every major city in the country. You can expect support from Jai Wolf, Toro y Moi, WAVEDASH, and James Ivy, who all blew me away at Second Sky! This is your shot to see Porter living out his dreams and performing Nurture live. Trust me when I tell you this set is an experience, unlike any others. The thought and emotion put into his Nurture set are very evident. You will look throughout the crowd and see tears, hugs, smiles, and dancing – and maybe some Potaro stuffed animals, too. Porter just brings out some of the happiest feelings in us all!
With all of this being said, be sure to grab tickets here for Porter Robinson’s Nurture Live Tour!
