Who will we seeing in MIIIami this year? III Points, which takes place in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District, will feature over 150 acts spanning across almost every genre. The festival, which launched in 2013, has a knack for always providing unique and diverse lineups that aren’t comparable to other major fests. This years lineup features some massive talent, especially in the electronic scene that we hold so dearly. Let’s take a deeper dive into what’s set up to be one of the festivals of the year.
Featuring acts across multiple genres, III Points touched on everyone’s taste with the 2022 lineup.
The headliners speak for themselves. Porter Robinson and James Blake highlight the Friday slate. They are accompanied by Madeon, and the amazing and awe-inspiring Tycho. Freddie Gibbs is one of the best names in rap right now, and he joins the Friday slate as well. All of these names mixed among some other fun headliners like Chris Lake, Nina Kraviz and more. III Points heats up on Saturday, with the amazing Flume, coming off the release of Palaces, taking the headline spot. Black Coffee and Bob Moses join amongst a myriad of exciting names. UK duo Orbital is also set to deliver some fantastic tunes to dance around to. For the most part, these names are all in the dance department, don’t sleep on the other headliners as well, as LCD Soundsystem and Rosalia are sure to impress. Overall, III Points aced the assignment in regards to its headliners.
While the headliners are awesome, it is the undercard that is truly special. III Points has done it again. On Friday, performances from Danny Daze, Amtrac, Mindchatter and Nala highlight the electronic performances. Jonny from Space, Jacques Greene and Shygirl will all live up to the hype as well. Then Saturday, we get a live performance from arguably the hottest duo in dance music right now, Overmono. That alone is enough for me to buy a ticket. There is the legendary duo, INVT, who will absolutely dominate the dancefloor, along with Chloe Caillet plus many others.
Tickets go on sale here Friday at 1pm EST, don’t miss out!
You won’t want to miss III Points in 2022. This is set up to be one of the festivals of the year. With over seven stages of fun and a stacked lineup, we’ll surely see you in Miami this October.
