For newcomers to the scene and longtime dance music fans alike, there’s one thing we can agree on. There is an overwhelming amount of genres. Progressive house, industrial, psytrance, happy hardcore, new rave – the list goes on. Not only that, but new genres continue to pop up all the time and gain popularity.

So, what are your favorites?

Today, we came across a website that can help you answer that question, or maybe discover a new genre you’re not familiar with yet! Going by the name of “Every Noise at Once,” the landing page of the site rattles off genre after genre, ranging from favorites like deep house to obscure genres even we haven’t heard of, such as “terrorcore” or “bubblegum dance.”

By clicking on the name of the genre, the website plays a sample of what it sounds like and, if you like what you hear, takes you onto a second page with artists in that genre; more names than you can count.

Along the top, it also gives you the option to randomly listen to genres, link your Spotify account, and, under “other things,” goes into understanding music genres, genres by country, and other cool information.

Ready to give it a shot? Head over here to “Every Noise at Once” to give it a whirl, and let us know your results!
