A wicked dance era is upon us as artists come together to push boundaries and create experiences like no other. It’s a rare occasion when multiple artists find an effortless cohesion and produce wavelengths catering to various walks of life. With a recent mix and city debuts, Villain Era needs no introduction. The project consists of three quickly rising producers: Charles Nimbus, Wessanders, and Tygris. While all sonically diverse, they now come together, creating the multi-genre form, incorporating UKG beats, glitch-hop flares, and thought-provoking frequencies.
The trio recently dropped their Villain Era Mix Vol. 1, showcasing their version of UKG dance beats. The mix begins with a villainous tone, a garage foundation, and a deep vibe. The garage beat carries throughout the thirty-minute mix, with added elements continuously changing the atmosphere. Villain Era takes listeners through heart-pounding drums and grooving lines, accented by vocal samples with hip-hop definition and soulful feels. Their UKG journey of a mix concludes with a smooth vibe, dreamlike vocals, and jazzy notes.
