Last weekend, Tape B incited chaos after releasing the second volume of his famous CarTunes mix! This long-awaited sequel is jam-packed with hefty originals; it’s fifty-six minutes of straight heat.
Florida native Tape B conquered 2022 with notable releases, such as “Melodic Blue” and plenty of unforgettable performances on Liquid Stranger‘s DIMENSIONS tour. Likewise, this year will be no different! His love for old-school dubstep fuels his classic yet cutting-edge style. Believe it or not, CarTunes Vol: 2 is even more riveting than the last. The year of Tape B has commenced!
“It’s like the definition of old school x new school and the exact style of music I’ve been trying to showcase for the past couple of years.”

While brimming with IDs, this compilation has an effortless blend of hip-hop and bass music; his rework of TLC’s “No Scrubs” will live rent-free in our heads! Not only that, the opening track “Trippy (Tape B flip)” by Lil Wayne and Juicy J is a heavy-hitter and sets the tone for the rest of the mix.
This also marks Tape B’s first release of 2023. It’s a sneak peek of what’s to come with a sprinkle of oldies. For example, he also features two of our favorites, “Blaze” and “About Me Too.“ So prepare to be taken on a dubstep journey through slamming bass lines and sick drops.

Above all, Tape B is an artist who must be on your radar. His passion for music, in general, is remarkable and continuously delivers a fresh take. Without a doubt, CarTunes Vol: 2 is a fabulous start to the year, and it will only get better. And if you still need to witness a Tape B set, check out his 2023 schedule underneath!
