Okeechobee 2023 is suddenly around the corner. The beloved fest is making a strong return. The diversity, support of the underground, and overall spirit is nearly unmatched. It seems every year Okee gets better and better. While we’re still almost 6 months out, the South Florida-based festival dropped the lineup for us to collectively froth over.

A lot to unpack with this lineup… let’s start with the Headliners:

From the top down, we start off with Odesza. Little needs to be said about the duo. With the help of their famous drum line, Odesza is currently selling out arenas and ampitheatres across the US on their “The Last Goodbye” tour. That production in the Grove? Perfection. Then, the up-and-coming star, Baby Keem, will headline the rap portion of the lineup. Below that are two of the biggest names in American Dubstep currently, Griz and Excision.

Earth Wind & Fire? Sign us up for that. Then, lock yourself in for the epic jams of Goose, one of the most popular bands on the festival circuit right now. The list of headliners is closed out by the hardcore punk band, Turnstile. Overall, the headliners are impressive, but what really gets the blood flowing is…

The First Undercard.

I am beyond impressed with the undercard selected for this fest. Okeechobee always has fantastic selections, but this year? Wow. Some of my favorite names here are the electronic band, Break Science, the house star Justin Martin, and dubstep legends, Kahn and Coki. Then, the queens of jungle, Nia Archives and Sherelle both make appearances on the lineup, as well as the amazing Mall Grab, who dabbles in house, breaks, and jungle as well.

A Tinlicker live set will be a thing of beauty, as well as the Township Rebellion listing. Our drum n’ bass kick will be fueled by the legends Craze and Wilkinson. Sven Vath, Ivy Lab, and Daily Bread are also huge standouts. There is almost too much to list. Chanel Tres? Fantastic. Overall, Okeechobee nailed the first undercard.

Don’t forget to read until the end! Okeechobee smashed it with the lower undercard.

In small orange font at the bottom of the flyer is a list of artist names all bunched together. But don’t just skim through it. This section is filled with gems. Dubstep legend, The Widdler goes b2b with Pushloop. Deep Dark & Dangerous boss’ Truth sneak in on the last line, right next to the 140 queen, Zen Selekta. Nikki Nair, Anna Morgan, INVT and Nick Leon all will throw down some crazy techno, breaks and who knows what else. Bass music fans can rejoice over Player Dave, Esseks, and more. This bottom section is the icing on an already tasty cake.

Okeechobee 2023 Tickets drop this Thursday – 9/22. See you all in the Portal!
