Weeks later and we’re still buzzing over Sonic Bloom 2023, hosted on the beautiful Hummingbird Ranch in Colorado. The vibes were high as the Unified Field filled with creative inspiration, artistic talent, and spiritual beings.
Sonic Bloom welcomed attendees of all ages, incorporating family camping zones and the Rainbow Lightning Children’s Village. Not only did this year’s lineup blow us out of the water, but the immersive art and well-being workshops were the icing on the cake. With a meditative gong experience, revitalizing yoga, roaring bass, and captivating flow arts, this year’s Sonic Bloom had every part of your inner being covered.

Field Unification
As field unification began, we found our campground nestled in the lush Spanish peaks, surrounded by blue skies and mountain landscapes. Upon arrival, it began to drizzle, settling the ranch ground’s dust and cooling us from the 80°F weather. Sonic Bloom’s stages were placed in the inviting open space, while some were surrounded by trees and others with vendors and art. Positivity and excitement filled festival-goers’ faces, transcending across every corner of the Unified Field.
Sonic Bloom invited all means of self-expression. Wellness workshops like Qi Gong Flow were heart-centering, while slacklining and Circus Arts helped break us outside of our comfort zone. Speakers provided grounding words of wisdom throughout the day, covering subjects including mental health, awakening, and trauma release. The Oracle Portal, tucked in the shade by the Hummingbird stage, was flooded with spirit, offering guidance and teachings for all walks of life. Art installations and live painters set up within the Hummingbird Stage’s trees, mesmerizing wanderers as they explored the unified grounds.
The Sonic Realm
Sonic Bloom 2023’s multi-genre line-up was shaped by talented instrumentalists, heavy-hitting production, and label takeovers. We felt unified each day, as we moved through jamming instrumentals and deep bass waves. Every performance held its own unique flare, paired with explosive lasers and visuals by artists including Stef.fx and Actualize.
From start to end, the weekend’s sonic vibrations kept us moving at all tempos. From a dark, dnb infused set from Alix Perez, to chillhop on a Sunday morning with the all:lo collective takeover. We grooved with Late Night Radio at the Bloom Stage, and dove into the depths with Zen Selekta at the D’Om. Let’s not forget the royal Clozee headline performance with the unforgettable light and laser show.
Setting the tone
Each day featured a different label takeover from Odyzey, Sub.mission, and all:lo collective. The Meadow Stage was packed with vibrant energy on Friday and Saturday for Josh Teed and Ternion Sound. This stage hypnotized us both evenings, with incredible fire performances and beaming lasers. After a couple of bass-heavy label takeovers, all:lo collective did us just right on Sunday; The Hummingbird Stage chilled out, starting with pheel. and parkbreezy‘s project, Morning Coffee, into the hip-hoppy set by Tf Marz.
Sonic Bloom 2023 set a bar for Colorado festivals, covering all aspects needed for the physical and spiritual. All ages greeted their inner child, let go, and experienced the purest form of happiness through music and arts. Although the jam-packed lineup drew us in, we couldn’t have expected such a transformational experience from this year’s installment. Considering attending this event for yourself next year?
