Conscious Alliance is a national nonprofit that works in various communities to feed individuals in need. There’s something extra special about what drives Conscious Alliance though. By creating an intersection of music, art, and hunger relief, they unite different community members with a shared goal. There are about 34 million individuals in the United States that are food insecure. Households in rural areas have a higher rate of food insecurity. Conscious Alliance is here to help fight that.

How does Conscious Alliance feed communities in need?

Conscious Alliance partners with over 70 brands to distribute food across the United States. Some partners include Justin’s, Hormel Foods, and more. Conscious Alliance removes barriers by picking up on its very own pallet or semi-truck, truly making it easy for partners to donate.

Conscious Alliance also works hard to keep food out of landfills through its partnerships. Did you know 40% of food in the U.S. is wasted? Did you know the average family throws out about $1,600 in produce annually?

The national nonprofit also combines music artists, bands, and brands to feed local families and individuals. If you’ve been to Red Rocks Amphitheatre or a big-name festival like Electric Forest, you’ve most likely seen the iconic posters they create in partnership with music artists. They spearhead food drives in exchange for posters so fans can support their local communities.

Traveling across the nation, Conscious Alliance elevates its partnership with artists and festivals to reach audiences that already have a deep love and connection at musical events. To provide a one-of-a-kind, high-quality poster to support a good cause is truly genius.

Conscious Alliance runs boots-on-the-ground operations at the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. This community is a food desert, with only one grocery store on the reservation. They launched a family garden to produce fresh food, promote wellness, and end the food insecurity cycle in this rural area.

Of course, the nonprofit also accepts monetary donations on top of its other efforts. When you make a donation, it supports behind-the-scenes operations to ensure everything runs smoothly for their team members and partners.

Do you want to join the Alliance?

As you can see, there are various ways to support Conscious Alliance. If you’re passionate about making a difference in your community, you can volunteer at an upcoming concert, festival, or fundraising event. Curious if they’re coming to a concert or festival near you? Be sure to check out their website and come prepared with non-perishable food (or some extra cash). Additionally, you can donate to support their cause.
