On June 7th, Zingara headlined Mission Ballroom in Denver, celebrating the release of her most recent album, The Code of Dreamz. Around 3,000 Denverites danced the night away at Zingara’s headlining show! The album was released independently the night prior, on June 6th.

“This album brings to life the lessons I learned from the dream world I would adventure through as a child. It is a message to my listeners to follow your dreams (literally the ones shown to you by your subconscious mind at night, and your dream life you want to live.)”

Kicking off the night at Mission Ballroom, Osyris got the crowd warmed up with her signature sound, taking us on an adventure. Up next was Lumasi. Hailing on new takes to classic songs, he debuted “Lower” featuring ProbCause, which first gained attention on TikTok. What was originally a flip of T-Pain’s “Low,” this audio on TikTok quickly gained over 1 million views, which opened the door for him to release the track for listeners. Lumasi and ProbCause created a fresh, 2024 version of the well-loved track. Last but certainly not least was Black Carl!. Known for his heavy-hitting bass, he certainly didn’t disappoint and was the perfect opener right before Zingara took the stage.

The lights go out…

Zingara enters and her visuals shine on the screen. Describing exactly what she said about dreams earlier, she starts her set by showing herself sleeping and dreaming. We see Zingara wake up in an unknown space – is this a nightmare? She’s describing what she’s feeling… “How do you explain another dimension?” Lucky for us, Zingara is about to explain that to us.

Lasers, lasers, and more lasers. This is Zingara’s biggest headline and production show to date. “The Power of Everything feat. Heyz” engulfed our ears as lasers took over our sight. What an entrance. “Time is Illusion” hits different live. The deep bass, high energy, Zingara on the stage? What more could you ask for? We were also lucky enough to hear new tracks like “The Stars Are Calling Me” and “Look Inside” while playing some original favorites. “Space Candy” – an all-time favorite (duh) and she mixed “WWYB3” with her new track “Up is Down.” Iconic is an understatement.

This 12-track album is nothing short of perfection. Zingara gives us a look into what her dreams have been like from a young age. From predicting world events to trips to other dimensions, these dreams have shaped who she is as a person and artist. Be sure to read the track list in order as they spell out a story and the overall theme of the album. Zingara, thank you for showing us the code of your dreams and taking us on this journey with you.

Listen to Code of Dreamz now to see what Zingara and her dreams are all about.
