“Sometimes, when I’m writing music, inspiration will come out of nowhere. This song started with the lyrics in my head while I was driving home. I sang them straight into my voice memos, and as soon as I was in front of my computer, this song poured out of me. What’s cool about music is the meaning behind a song can change over time. And with this song, specifically, I really felt that. This song can be interpreted in many different ways. For me, it means staying true to myself, and not getting lost in the darkness that can be loud in my head sometimes. I used a lot of sounds in the drop that reminded me of getting lost in my thoughts. No matter what you’re struggling with or how good you feel, it’s so easy to lose yourself to negative self-talk, but it’s important to find the light and make your way back home. I hope you stay a little longer and keep pushing through to the light.”

Within the abyss, the echoing “want you to stay” floats through the heavy atmosphere as we step further inside. While we feel the chills attach to our skin, we continue to seep and immerse ourselves in the shadows. The pressure from the stuttering bass waves alters our reality, splitting the different realms and grasping different perspectives that linger within the murkiness. As we settle into the spine-chilling aura, we fall into a dark trance while we become enthralled by the elegance of the darkness. Through the reflections in the sound, we start to see the radiating shine ahead.

Osyris establishes a welcoming environment within the obscurities in the shadows for us to heal our somber thoughts. Through the reverberating sonics, we allow ourselves to fall and align back onto the path ahead. Ready to remove the daze that has continuously been halting our perception and gems that lie away from the darkness. Osyris teaches an important lesson through the energy that seeps from the vibrations of her production. The secrecies patiently awaiting to be unraveled for us to unlock our true inner power. Now, we have to stay and indulge in what the darkness has to educate us.
