Gallery of Sound is a funky, filthy six-track voyage from anonymous producer Tripp St., available everywhere via WAKAAN.
Tripp St. has taken the music scene by storm in recent years. Maintaining an enigmatic persona while keeping his audience focused on his unique work. After a full album and LP release with Clozee’s Odyzey label, this third installment comes closely after a debut single on Liquid Stranger’s SSKWAN label titled “Lemonade.”

“The inspiration for the title ‘Gallery of Sound’ comes from the name of the first record store I bought music at when I was younger. They didn’t really enforce the age limits, so I was able to get any CDs I wanted growing up. They threw free concerts in the back of the store and made a cool little community for us while they could. [So] I wanted to pay homage to those good times with this title.”

Gallery of Sound combines a fun, nostalgic hip-hop style with intricate free-form bass from beginning to end.
The journey begins with “Head Rearranger,“ which blends a classic sound with heavy synths and the signature glitch-hop style that Tripp St. has become renowned for. Followed by “I Won’t Stop,“ with heavy vocals from talented lyricist MC Jumanji, the only feature on the EP.
Through all six tracks, it is evident that this mysterious mind has refined his craft since debuting in 2021. Tracks like “Who Got The Funk” and “Go Low” have us bouncing and head nodding from beginning to end. This EP will surely be on repeat for many, with spring and a new festival season slowly approaching.
Keeping up the momentum, Tripp St. is slotted for select dates on Daily Bread’s Invisible Cinema tour and special guest at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. After an insane past two years, Tripp St. is poised for continued growth and support for 2023 and beyond.
