sfam welcomes us into the new decade with an enormous new mix. The duo from New Orleans is ringing in the new year by sharing with us a plethora of unreleased tunes from themselves and all their homies. Y’all are going to want to strap in for this one. It’s about to get hectic.

We were first introduced to sfam last summer as the latest additions to come from the notorious Wakaan label. It was quite the year for the two as they showcased their wonkiness on a debut EP, threw down a set everyone was raving about at the Wakaan festival and secured a spot opening for the label titan Liquid Stranger at his NOLA NYE Takeover. It’s safe to say the bossman expects these two to be poised for a massive 2020. Our team here heavily expects these dudes to have a major impact on the space bass scene this year.

Unreleased collabs with EAZYBAKED, TVBOO, G-Rex, G-Space, Mystic Grizzly, Onhell, Tiedye Kye, Subdocta & more!

Let’s dive into the real goodies now. This mix contains 19 tracks, with 17 of them being IDs. Yup, you are hearing that correctly. 17 brand new, never before heard heaters found right here in this mix. Of course, there’s a plethora of new material from sfam themselves but then we have tons of unreleased collabs with EAZYBAKED, TVBOO, G-Rex, G-Space, Mystic Grizzly, Onhell, Tiedye Ky, SubDocta & more!

The mix is filled to the brim with insane low-end frequencies that will tickle your mind and elevate your senses. sfam takes the listener on a journey through what we can expect 2020 to sound like in the wonky bass genre. If this mix is any indication, we are in store for one hell of a year.

sfam is also currently a member of one of the hottest record labels in bass music right now. A 40oz collective is making major moves in the industry and we can’t help but take notice. After hosting numerous takeovers at festivals for the past few years, the label hosted their own festival for the second year in a row. The lineup bolstered numerous rising stars such as Milano, Potions, Tsuruda, Reso, Molokai as well as Electric Hawk’s very own Ravenscoon. We are incredibly excited to see what this crew is cooking up for this summer’s festival season.

So let’s get that new year started with a bang and stream the mix below. Be sure to follow sfam on socials and streaming platforms to stay up to date with all their latest releases. Trust us, you are not going to want to miss out when these tunes drop.
