The events we love and cherish would simply not exist if it weren’t for the production teams behind the curtain. Individuals of all expertise pour all efforts to create the best experience for attendees of any genre preference. With beaming lasers and creative stage designs, our one-of-a-kind shows become unforgettable memories. These memories not only include the heavy-hitting lineups but also include the fostered connections between us, the music, and the atmosphere.
For this series, we have our Hawk eyes on production teams across the US, who work hard to bring us together one event at a time, starting with the bass capital itself – Denver, Colorado. From the lights, stage, and action, here are a few teams you should keep your eyes peeled for.
Koja Sound

Koja Sound has quickly made a name for themselves, serving the local scene with a unique, roaring sound system. Not only providing sound, the duo continues to grow as an event production team, using their creative minds to the fullest. They’ve been behind some of our most memorable Colorado shows to date, like the Pretty Lights Dillon Afters, and the surprise Skrillex X Zeds Dead Afters on NYE. While having the opportunity to work with some massive names in the game, Koja Sound fulfills their mission by serving top-notch production to venues like Cervantes, Aggie Theater, and Ophelia’s.
“Koja Sound began with the idea to create a unique sound system experience that differed from what everyone is used to. I created my system based on how I want to hear live music. I came to Joe with the concept for the rig – a hybrid of DIY Paraflex and Danley speakers – and asked him to go in with me as a 50/50 partnership. We had no idea where this journey would take us, but we knew our backgrounds and passion for music would lead us somewhere special. We put our trust in the community and gave it a shot, hoping they would agree.
The positive feedback has been overwhelming, and we’re honored to be considered a real player in the local and underground scenes. I couldn’t have possibly predicted any of this would be a reality a few years ago. We’re grateful for the incredible support we’ve received from the community and the many individuals we’ve met along the way. It’s important to us to always give back and lift the scene that Koja was born in. Local is where greatness is cultivated.”

Everything’s led to the continuous expansion of our curated stage oasis and opened doors to the abundant opportunities Denver has to offer. In collaboration with our partners at Koja Sound and Mindbeam Productions, we demonstrate that we possess the capabilities to emerge as key players in the Colorado EDM scene.”

“We’d like to give a few shout-outs to those who have collaborated with us. They’re a group of individuals we see as friends, ones we trust to be innovative and push the genre we love so dearly forward. To the entire Atrium staff, we love you and all that you willingly provide. We’ve also built a great relationship with Koja Sound, seeing eye to eye on a unified vision. Plus, their custom-built sound system BANGS. Shout out to Vahn Ivan at Mindbeam Productions. He’s one of the most talented, smart, and innovative humans in our industry. We hire him every chance we get when lasers are necessary. Additionally, an honorable mention to Greg Glassman with River Beats and Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom.
Lastly, to all the artists who’ve trusted us with their art. Our friends at Qualia Sound have become more than a business agreement, and we’ll continue to support their journey, pushing a sonic narrative through depth and intention. As for the future, I’d personally love to work with Kompass Mgmt, Memory Palace, and Define Everything Future (DEF).”

Mindbeam Productions

Vahn Ivan-Wolfgar Plambeck began his journey in 2013 as the founder of Mindbeam Productions and Mind Quest Presents. Inspired by the electronic community, religion, and psychedelic experiences, Vahn grew his calling with the help of a mentor, Scott Morel. After gaining the knowledge necessary to continue his passion, he finds himself working with artists like Future Primitive and Bogtrotter. His mind-beaming lasers are spotted around the Denver area at venues like Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom and The Ogden Theatre.
“In 2013, I was heavily influenced by my love for electronic music and the desire to contribute to this community in any way. Throughout my journey, psychedelics and religion helped me dig deep into this passion, which brought my creativity to life. I moved from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins and had a full-time job in the oil field to fund all the gear to throw the best events I could. I would put together renegades, small festivals, afters, whatever I was able to do.
My journey has been long and tedious to get to where I am today. I’m so grateful because my life now consists of throwing incredible shows and doing lasers for artists I’ve only dreamed of working with. I’m manifesting more bookings at Mission Ballroom, Fillmore Auditorium, and to be booked at my first Red Rocks show.”

Infinite Harmonies

Infinite Harmonies lives up to their mission by spreading love and happiness through healing sound experiences. Founder Jess Naomi started in Florida in 2020 with socially distanced events to fill the void people felt during the pandemic. From small crowds to intimate gatherings at the Aqueous Connection festival, she opened a new chapter in Denver with the same mission. Now producing shows at The Black Box, Infinite Harmonies curates genre-diverse lineups with their “Underground Showcase Series.”
“I started all of it to bring people together; to not only bring joy and happiness into the attendees’ lives, but to also provide a platform for musical & visual artists, workshop teachers, performers, ceremony leaders, and anyone else focused on community. What keeps me going time and time again is the ability to give individuals the opportunity to live in their power and shine their light in their most authentic way. Knowing I could be the reason someone had the chance to grow, become inspired, and be the person they want to be is my motivator.”
– Jess Naomi, founder of Infinite Harmonies
