Spearheading producer, Of The Trees, has teamed up with the critically acclaimed hip-hop duo, EARTHGANG, to create a cutting-edge, cross-genre single and music video titled Look Into My Eyes.”

Of The Trees, alias of Tyler Coombs, launches this highly anticipated collaboration on his forward-thinking label, Memory Palace. He premiered the groundbreaking track during his headlining set at Electric Forest in 2025, bringing out EARTHGANG as a surprise special guest, and has since teased it at his most recent Red Rocks show.

Following the release of his other much-awaited single, “Dolori,” a few weeks ago, this Denver-based artist is laying the groundwork for his upcoming milestone project, Moonglade Park. Coming this February, the intentional concept album will be his first album since Duat and Dream Atlas in 2016.

Over the past decade, Of The Trees has demonstrated his ability to push boundaries and create new opportunities in the music sphere. This includes curating his immersive destination festival, Camp Alderwild. The multi-fauceted creator unveils his undeniable growth and raw production prowess in “Look Into My Eyes.” Blending cinematic bass, eclectic sound design, and storytelling lyricism, EARTHGANG and Of The Trees showcase their world-building artistic expression. The collaboration draws on elements of hip-hop and experimental electronica. It defies genres, immerses listeners, and expands possibilities in both worlds of music.

EARTHGANG is a GRAMMY-nominated duo known for their profound lyrics, soul-influenced musicality, and funk-driven style. Comprised of Atlanta-based rappers Olu (Johnny Venus) and WowGr8 (DocturDot), EARTHGANG has established themselves as leading voices in modern hip-hop, with socially conscious themes and cultural commentary throughout their discography. The trailblazing pair signed to Dreamville Records in 2017 and are co-founders of the collective Spillage Village. They have collaborated with cultural visionaries including J. Cole, Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa, CeeLo Green, and Curren$y, who is also featured on “GLADIUS,” a track by Of The Trees and Freddy Todd’s side project, BLAAP.

“Look Into My Eyes” Reflects Authentic Collaboration

“Look Into My Eyes” is a listening experience that highlights breakthrough artistry and inspiringly embroiders the balance between hip-hop and electronic music. Lyrics read, “I ain’t got no speeches for you leeches on debate teams. You a slave to the likes and validating, I was moving mountains. I was climbing trees. I was surfing seas.” The single is a bold statement that signifies sonic innovation and each artist’s creative development, while staying grounded and true to their art.

After much anticipation, the earth-shattering partnership is finally available on all music platforms on Friday, January 30th. The music video debuted on Wednesday, January 28th, on the official Of The Trees YouTube as part of his “Movie Night” series. Filmed with EARTHGANG in the Colorado mountains, the video further reflects the imaginative depth and audiovisual storytelling that Of The Trees is embedding into his recent releases. We can only expect this unique approach to shine through in Moonglade Park.
