Last month, we intercepted a transmission from a different dimension: Another Realm by Just Connor. While its contents may not have been intended for mere mortal ears, our team of researchers were able to successfully translate the message into a form that’s safe for human consumption.
It is thanks to their efforts that we can now, in good conscience, offer this trip through ‘Another Realm’ to a wider audience as part of our next round of research, as more research into this matter is desperately needed.
Participants, be warned: there is something otherworldly present in these glorious soundwaves, and we cannot guarantee your full and complete safety at this time.
Results of our first clinical trial
Following initial exposure to Just Connor’s transmission, our research team reported increased feelings of euphoria, weightlessness, and an enhanced sense of well-being. We are conducting further studies to measure this reaction in self-identified ‘Wave Babes’ versus the population at large in order to best determine what is the result of correlation, and what is the result of causation.
At the conclusion of our first research trial, we discovered that the highest incidence of these feelings is strongly correlated with exposure to the transmission as one continuous experience, as opposed to fragmented, song-by-song engagement.
Furthermore, certain members of our research team reported entering an altered state of mind for the duration of their listening, describing the sensation as ‘an out-of-body experience unlike any other.’
We received a high number of reports detailing involuntary muscle movements, such as head-bobbing, swaying, foot-tapping, ‘grooving’, and others. Some team members also reported ‘a sort of afterglow’ in which they found these positive changes in affect lingering for a period after their work ceased.
One researcher simply reported, ‘This fucks.’
Notes on segmented exposure
A special subsect of our team is gathering data related to specific segments of the transmission (e.g., “Clear Water Ultra”) in order to pinpoint the exact mechanism behind the change in human affect presented in this study.
At this time, we are unable to determine exactly how Just Connor was able to program Another Realm to override listeners’ emotional states, but we hope to shed light on this phenomenon as part of our Q3 report, pending the results of our upcoming clinical trial.
However, our initial findings imply that exposure to any portion of this transmission can yield similar results as full immersion in human test subjects. The intensity of certain effects is determined by a variety of controllable and uncontrollable factors. We hope that by the end of this upcoming trial, we will be able to speak on the exact mechanisms employed in this transmission.
Risks of participation
We are required to note that some of our researchers are still lost somewhere between this realm and the next, unable to disengage from the transmission. They remain transfixed, even when presented with alternative listening experiences or reminders of their daily responsibilities.
Yet, they still listen.
In a final attempt to bring these researchers back to us, we resorted to cutting off their access to Another Realm, but that action resulted in begs for more Just Connor. At least one researcher became violent in their attempts to return to Another Realm, but no serious injuries have been reported.
The most coherent of these ‘lost’ researchers explained that ‘it’s as if this music is reprogramming my brain’ and ‘my life is better in ‘Another Realm‘, why would I ever leave?’
At this time, we are reluctant to refer to the situation as “tragic” due to the blissful expressions on the faces of those under Just Connor’s spell; however, our team’s full return to the human realm is of utmost importance to us as we move into this next phase of research.
While they may be temporarily lost, they will not be forgotten.
We must learn more about the informally named ‘Just Connor Phenomenon’ before we are able to proceed with plans for their homecoming.

According to our latest reports, an inter-dimensional portal will be opening up on April 13. The projected location of this portal is The Black Box in Denver, Colorado, and it will open around 9pm local time. Researchers based in the area will be on-site to ensure the safety of all involved.
This upcoming inter-dimensional situation presents a unique opportunity to observe beings from ‘another realm’ in their natural environment, as Just Connor will be joined behind the decks by w/out in support of So Sus that night.
