On a sunny Memorial Day weekend, Jaenga and his crew curated something outside the box for his dedicated fan base. The Denver-based producer is well known to the community, for his dubstep sounds, hyping wavelengths, and humorous content. He consistently finds creative ways to bring his music to audiences, so he’s recently made an imprint within various local scenes. This time, he joins forces with Koja Sound and Denver EDM Friends, serving Denver residents with a surprise pop-up they’ll never forget. With an appropriate sound system, guest appearances, and perfect weather, Jaenga’s pop-up leaves us craving another one.

Surrounded by original art and graffitied concrete, the park was the perfect location for Jaenga’s Sunday Funday. The lucky 50 individuals who arrived first were able to snag an ICE CREAM Jersey, while merch was available for all others who made their way over. Smiling faces accompanied by the sun and blue skies defined the atmosphere with light and positivity.

Preston Blake started the day, kicking us through high-paced, DnB-fused gears. As more people caught word of the pop-up, a 360 boiler vibe flourished. Fans surrounded Jaenga as he threw down a dubstep, hip-hop-infused, genre-diverse, heavy set. Knowing we couldn’t get enough, Jaenga’s friends So Down and Spades took charge of the decks, carrying the show through dusk.
Missed out this time around? Jaenga has you covered with his full set, now available on Soundcloud!
With releases via Deadbeats, Subcarbon, and Wakaan, Jaenga’s ever-growing reputation doesn’t stop at his music. From innovative content to festival-goer pranks, he builds an organic following of like-minded individuals ready to let go and get down. These individuals come together through the love of his music, and creating a community focused on culture and positive vibrations.
We know we can’t wait for the next surprise in store. Until then, dive further into Jaenga’s frequencies below.
