It’s cuffing season for some of us, but break (and breakup) season for DJs apparently… and sadly, we’re adding Flosstradamus to the list. Fortunately, it’s not the end for Floss, but frontman Curt Cameruci, did announce that he needs a break.

In a recent social media post, he says:
Some of you may have seen reports that Flosstradamus is ending.
Not true.
It’s not over, and never will be. I, Curt, do need to take a break from the road, which I’m planning to do for most of if not all of 2020. During that time I will still be working on and releasing Flosstradamus music, mixtapes, and apparel, but no live shows.
The truth is I need to be in one place to get myself centered. I have been on the road 200+ days a year for the last 12+ years. I love performing so much that I keep saying yes to shows and forgot how to say yes to myself.
I am incredibly thankful for the opportunities we’ve exeperienced together. I have pretty much checked off all the places I have wanted to perform from my bucket list. I couldn’t be more grateful!
He then announces a few shows in late 2019-early 2020 in his “favorite places to play.”

The trap act has been bringing its music to huge festivals for years, and Cameruci never slowed down, even since Flosstradamus became a one-man crew.
We always support DJs taking a break for their mental health, even if it means we get to see them less. But we’re super excited to see what’s next for Flosstradamus after he “finds his center.”
