This weekend, St. Petersburg, Florida, will welcome fan-favoriteย EAZYBAKEDย back to the city’s beloved outdoor venue, Jannus Live, on Saturday, the 18th. The project, pioneered by Eric Raye and Andrew Principe, is one of the most distinguished electronic projects to come out of Florida. Each set played by the duo is enveloped in authenticity.
Dubbed the hometown heroes of nearby city Orlando, EAZYBAKED is comprised of two long-time best friends. Beginning their careers playing live shows in 2016, the two are now among experimental bassโs most sought-after producers. Their music bleeds purpose and carries a sort of charisma that can only hope to replicate. Their latest LPs, The Antennae and Intertwined, have brought forth some of the most incredible and influential experimental tunes in the scene. Tracks like “Sapped” (ft. Of The Trees), “Vessel”, and “The East” reflect their integrity and motivation to push the creative narrative.
Behind “The Bake Out”
This Saturdayโs show will be the duoโs second iteration of โThe Bake Outโ. The first, held in Colorado in 2024, was a massive success. Highlighting the best qualities of EAZYBAKED, โThe Bake Outโ encourages community togetherness and camaraderie.
Alongside their own EAZYBAKED set, the duo has put together a phenomenal lineup. This weekend’s Bake Out boasts Taiki Nulight as their special guest, playing his first set at Jannus Live. Alongside Nulight, fans will catch a set from SURFTEAM, (a stellar collaboration between tiedye ky and Esseks). Dank Frank and Golden Child will also be playing, providing sensational variability in genre. Overall, “The Bake Out” is an essential event, and we personally can’t wait to hear some crispy low-end tunes. Make sure to get to “The Bake Out” early, or you risk missing Eric and Andrew’s The Bakers Set – their low-fi alter ego – that’s sure to set the night off on a laid-back note.
