We’re 8 weeks pregnant after our first listen through the new collaboration, “Desire,” from Bob Moses and ZHU. With Bob Moses taking the reigns in the vocals department, this club-influenced single collides sexy synths among harmonious melodies.
Although Bob Moses’ live sets include a full live band setup, the two wanted this track to make listeners feel like they were back on the dance floor with a DJ, bringing in ZHU for the perfect sultry trio. Bob Moses has also revealed that the single will be included in the duo’s forthcoming album, Desire, set for release August 28 via Domino. This will be their first full length work since the dreamy, masterful Battle Lines album in 2018.
Along with an interactive animated video paired with the release, you can also catch a special Bob Moses b2b ZHU (Blacklizt) streaming tomorrow evening on Insomniac’s Factory 93 Secret Project.
In the video below, directed by Owen Brown and produced by CTRL5, viewers can switch between a blue, red, or combination filtered animation, expressing scenes of desire and heartbreak.
