totto brings the fire with his own special spin on his newest single, “Barbatos.” Brace yourself and buckle up for this dubstep heater. He successfully marries elements of both classic dubstep and his personal experimental style.
When we heard totto was dropping a new single, we didn’t know exactly what to anticipate. The multi-talented producer has released quality tracks in a variety of genres. From trap to riddim to experimental neuro-bass. He really is a jack of all trades, as proven in his Reverie EP. It’s easy to say that with “Barbatos,” totto left us all very happy hawks.
“Barbatos” starts with a strong drum with sirens and a morphed guitar riff, letting you know it’s about to get gross quick. The drop rides out with loud ascending synths and a gritty, choppy beat. When the second drop hits, totto adds a lot more aggressive high-end samples, keeping the high-energy.
