Through lush melodies, infectious grooves, and dreamy soundscapes, rsrch chmcls invites listeners to step outside and lose themselves in the comforting glow of his EP, Watch The Sun. Across this radiant sonic journey, each track gently reminds us to slow down, embrace the world around us, and rediscover the beauty of simply being present.
“Birthed from pure passion of hip hop culture, Watch The Sun is a return to the sound that first inspired me to create. While rooted in classic boombap, I infused my sound and vision to create something that feels both unique and nostalgic. When writing albums and EPs, I strive to create a cohesive body of work that flows seamlessly. Connecting each track to the next, taking the listener on a full sonic journey.”

Stepping from nostalgia to fantasy
As the journey unfolds, the grooves deepen, the percussion grows heavier, and the rhythms carry a newfound momentum. Through elegant production and dreamy, nostalgic textures, rsrch chmcls transports us into the distant corners of our memories. Where familiar feelings resurface, and the boundaries between reality and imagination begin to blur. Filled with dreamy melodies, joyful undertones, and an undeniable sense of elegance, the journey gradually approaches its final chapter. A gentle feeling of triumph washes over us, accompanied by flashes of nostalgia and the lingering emotions of memories tucked away in the back of our minds. As the soundscape settles, we find ourselves suspended between the beauty of the moment and the desire to hold on just a little longer.
Find comfort in the warmth that surrounds us all
“You’re Mine” offers a beautifully intimate conclusion to the EP, wrapping listeners in lush, sensual melodies that awaken our deepest desires for love and connection. Perhaps this journey ends with you returning home, falling into the arms of someone you love. Or maybe it inspires you to pull out your phone and send a text to someone who’s been on your mind. Whatever form that connection takes, the track reminds us that warmth extends far beyond the sunlight touching our skin. Sometimes, it’s found in the people who make us feel at home. And as the final notes fade into the distance, we’re left floating in a weightless state of serenity.
Watch The Sun beautifully captures the many ways warmth finds its way into our lives. rsrch chmcls invites us to slow down and embrace the simple joys that often pass us by. Throughout the EP, each track becomes another chapter in a journey of self-reflection, comfort, and emotional discovery. Creating a world that feels almost too beautiful to leave behind. And perhaps that’s what makes Watch The Sun so special. Reminding us that the comfort we’ve been searching for might already exist in the moments, memories, and people surrounding us. All we have to do is allow ourselves to feel it.
