Deciding how you’ll spend your New Year’s Eve is one of the year’s most important decisions. Whatever you choose will control your final moments of 2022 and your first moments of 2023. It’s essential that you get it right. If you live in the Denver, Colorado, area or happen to be here for NYE, we’ve compiled a list to make your choice a bit easier.
The Black Box
The home for underground bass music has been delivering unreal lineups left and right this year, and New Year’s Eve is no different. The Black Box is hosting four days of insane talent to make your 2022 ending sweeter than ever. Some artists include Koan Sound, K.L.O (Kursa, Lonedrum, and Osmetic), The Widdler (for two whole hours), Oxóssi, and Chef Boyarbeatz was just announced to headline NYE evening! Needless to say, don’t sleep on The Black Box for your new year plans.

Decadence NYE
One of the most well-known Denver New Year’s Eve destinations, Decadence, is back again for its 2022 installment. This two-day event is happening at the Colorado Convention Center and features names like Flume, Zeds Dead, Porter Robinson, CloZee, and many more. This event seems like a no-brainer if you’re a fan of electronic music and unforgettable NYEs.

The String Cheese Incident
Who doesn’t love a bit of cheese? The String Cheese Incident will bring in the new year at Mission Ballroom. This eclectic band is known for producing one-of-a-kind shows that would be the perfect ending to anyone’s year. The band will be throwing down for three nights, so there’s no excuse to miss this!

STS9
My jam-loving queens and kings, get ready for another three-night run, this time from psych-jam band STS9. This is the place to be if you want to ensure you dance your way into the new year. Sound Tribe Sector 9 will be taking over the Fillmore Auditorium, and no doubt it’s going to be groovy.

BoomBox
Last on our list, but certainly, not least, is Boombox at The Ogden Theatre. This duo always delivers soulful and organic grooves that perfectly fit the New Year’s Eve vibe. They also have Lucid Vision and Edamame support, giving us even more reason to check this out.

So, what’re you waiting for? Call your homies, call your homie’s homies and get your plans in line! We’ll see you in 2023!
