Roll your windows down, turn the volume up, and get ready to jam out to Chet Porter and Alison Wonderland have a new collaboration called “Bummed”.

This fast-paced track gives off a bittersweet, yet, retro-indie-pop vibe that will have you 100% in your feelings. Porter’s vocals start off the track, blending in with upbeat tempo, which leads into Alison singing the chorus.

Their dissonant vocals radiate a euphoric feeling that brings a soft smile to your face. As the track draws to a close, one can hear a mesmerizing high-pitched flute-like sound. While listening to the track one is able to hear that both artists are speaking about depression and how they’re dealing with it.

Chet Porter and Alison Wonderland tell us it’s okay to be “Bummed”.

The two are known for being a major advocate for mental health and commonly express on Twitter that it is okay to not be okay at times.

Chet Porter recently came out of hiding in September with his song ‘Longest Day Ever’. He has gradually been releasing new music along with announcing an upcoming tour. Chet and Alison have a beautiful friendship and have teased fans on possible collabs for a while now. It’s about time the duo finally came through with this project.

Be sure to catch Chet Porter on tour this summer and Alison Wonderland at BUKU Festival in New Orleans!
