Brooklyn-based producer tsimba releases his Shambles EP on Friday, March 6th, and we at Electric Hawk are extremely happy to premiere the opening track “Room” for all of you.

Shambles is a four-track EP and tsimba already released “I Turn Into A Telescope” last week. This EP is a full demonstration of tsimba’s talents. He weaves his unorthodox, all-over-the-place-bass sounds together into beautiful melodies and dirty drops.

tsimba, real name Mark Evans Musto, is one of the most dynamic artists in bass music. His combination of mid-tempo and experimental bass is hard-hitting as well as rhythmic. The track “Room” is an excellent example of this.

It has a catchy and upbeat opening strewn with quick vocal and effects samples. This tempo shifts with the build and the drop where tsimba goes completely out of the box with “Room.” It’s hard to even explain what he does but all we can say is it is GOOD.
