After Canabliss selling out the Other Side last year, she brings something cute and freshening for next Denver headline. This time, Canabliss brings a change of pace to Denver. Encouraging everyone to dress up in their best sleepover attire for the most epic sleepover ever. Solfire, Raaket, and Capochino join a top tier support lineup to partake in all the festivities, making this event truly meant to be a full on extravaganza!
Before Canabliss makes her way to Denver, we had the chance to chit-chat with her. Electric Hawk got to ask what to expect for this Canabliss pajama party, some of favorite things about sleepovers, and much more!
In Conversation with Canabliss
seradopa: What was the inspiration for wanting to do a Pajama Party for your Cervantes Headline Show?
Canabliss: I felt it would be a unique idea for everyone to not have to stress about putting together elaborate uncomfortable outfits, which are typical for EDM shows – but still also amazing of course. I just thought it will be a cute change of pace!
seradopa: For your Pajama Party Extravaganza, you invited some very talented artists to get the party started for you and bring the energy. What inspired you to select these artists to set the vibe right?
Canabliss: I am so thankful to have Solfire, Raaket and our special guest Capochino on the lineup. They are all incredibly talented artists and I know they will bring the perfect energy for the atmosphere we’re trying to achieve that night at Cervantes!
seradopa: Since this is a Pajama Party, and is recommended to dress up. What would you consider is the proper Sleepover attire?
Canabliss: Cute pajamas of course, onesies, bath robes, really anything goes!!
seradopa: Now, I hear your headline show leads into your birthday! Do you have any birthday wishes already prepared?
Canabliss: I do! My main goals would be to keep focusing on my project and evolving/branching out more than I ever have before. I really feel ready this year to go all out!
seradopa: When you were growing up, were the one that was hosting pajama parties or was there always someone who had the best ones?
Canabliss: My friends and I would rotate a lot, I particularly had a lot of amazing sleepovers with my cousins and neighbors. For me, it was always a special experience to sleep over at one of their places, since it was a rare occurrence to be allowed to have a sleepover growing up.
I remember we would get so excited when our parents would agree!
seradopa: Hopefully this Mario Kart tournament comes to life! Who is your go-to character to play? And what would you say to the audience that believes they can beat you at your own Mario Kart Tournament?
Canabliss: I think it will! Lately I’m always Baby Peach for absolutely no reason other than I think it’s funny that she’s a little baby going crazy, honorable mention to Toad though.
To the audience that believes you can beat me at my own Mario Kart tourney, you can try and if you do you’re getting banned from my show – just kidding [laughs]
seradopa: What would you consider the biggest Sleepover Party foul?
Canabliss: Probably just being unnecessarily loud when everyone else is trying to sleep!
seradopa: What is your favorite game to play with your friends at a Sleepover?
Canabliss: Mario Kart and Mario Party 100%! It’s the perfect game to play with friends! Everyone gets so into it, and even non-gamers can enjoy them.
seradopa: What feather count pillow is the best for a Pillow Fight?
Canabliss: I honestly wasn’t even familiar with the fact that pillows have feather counts – learnt something new today! I think any soft pillow works for a pillow fight.
Something I do know is I am certainly team thin pillow for sleeping. How people sleep on thick pillows and not have broken necks is beyond me!
seradopa: For your ultimate dream Sleepover party, who would be invited, where would it be located, and what snacks would be there?
Canabliss: Everyone would be invited to my ultimate dream sleepover party at Cervantes in Denver, with cute drinks and cute snacks.
seradopa: What should Denver expect for your Pajama Party Extravaganza?
Canabliss: Expect a super on-theme atmosphere, an amazing set I’ve been working super hard on, lots of surprise lil pop ups & plenty unreleased IDs! It’s truly going to be my most special headline yet!
