Colorado’s South Park Basin is preparing for another year of Badger Bass Camp, a three-day music and arts camping experience from August 8th to August 10th.

Badger Bass Camp is a community-driven, intimate grassroots festival celebrating Colorado’s beloved underground bass scene. This year, the festival welcomes a thrilling lineup of barrier-breaking artists, including kLL sMTH, MPort, Duffrey, Copycatt, Chez, Keota, Humandala, and many more cutting-edge acts.

What To Expect

Prepared to be blown away by the wide range of genres and massive lineup of underground talent showcasing some of the best bass artists in the state. This includes experimental producers and tastemakers such as ABSNT, AtRysk, Flower Bass, Hericane, J. Lang, Manfish, Shlop, Spenny, Underground Selekta, Unearthly, and many more.

Presenting visuals for the entirety of Badger Bass Camp is Vision Reactor, a breakthrough VJ and animator in the Austin, Texas, underground scene. Self-taught 3D animator, Goop Wizard, will be managing visuals at the Full Moon stage. Also joining us from Arizona is Aesthesia, an up-and-coming creator who is carving out their unforgettable artistry from scratch. Industry veteran Chris Taylor and his motifs are sure to carry through the festival experience, transporting viewers through metaphysical planes. Finally, Sekret Garden founding member, Adinah Price, is bringing her entrancing exhibitions and projections.

The deeper meanings of these events are often lost, which is why Badger Bass Camp aims to create an event centered on high-fidelity sound, wellness, art, and spirituality. In addition, the festival is partnering with Connection Collective and True to the Sound, each bringing their unique vision to guide us on this sacred journey.

“Badger Bass Camp is a privately-owned, small-capacity event curated by artists, for artists with a heavy focus on sound, health, and spiritual wellness. Presented by Sekret Garden, the festival heavily incorporates the unique community spirit of the venue.

Experience the best the underground bass scene has to offer at a camping festival under the stars in beautiful Hartsel, Colorado!” – Badger Bass Camp

Stages

In a picturesque mountain town surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, Badger Bass Camp will feature three unique stages, over thirty fire performers, three dome structures, and multiple shaded areas. The Health and Wellness Dome, curated by Panda $tyle, will feature yoga and workshops throughout the weekend. These will be hosted by healers and guides, including Aquarian Payge, Keith Andersen, Movement with Jenae, and many other well-intentioned leaders.

With HSD sound provided by Pedalbike Productions, the Crystal Pavilion will serve as the main stage. Get lost in cyberspace with the large LED Wall tailored for visuals and projections. The Sound Shrine Stage will transport attendees to cryptic sonic realms, utilizing Koja Sound and a projection mapping-centric approach.

As attendees will be blessed with the presence of a full moon during the festival, Badger Bass Camp is partnering with Connection Collective. Known for curating full moon parties in the Rocky Mountains, Connection Collective is introducing the Full Moon Dome Stage, an otherworldly experience of immersive sound.

Experiences

Amidst the music and entertainers, art installations will be scattered throughout the festival grounds. There will be an art gallery providing an immersive and exploratory experience designed to inspire. Live painters and muralists will be in attendance, including Alucinary Visions, Synchronos, Cosmic Coder, Jrdzign, and more.

Organized by Alex Hendren, the fire lineup is stacked with diverse flow artists, including Dinosflow, Heirloom, Allie Pyrocat, Shollay, Mystic Mimi, and countless other dedicated performers. The fire circle will be held at the main stage.

The third dome installation will feature live demonstrations highlighting the unique art form of glass blowing, run by Ross Pullen at the CO: Co-Lab art dome. Each corner of Badger Bass Camp has something adventurous to offer. We couldn’t be more excited to go on this journey of unlimited opportunity.

Safety & Security

To ensure our safety, JamCare will be onsite providing EMS. Badger Bass Camp has contracted with the county to have two deputies in the area off-site. There will be harm reduction, specifically, folks serving in de-escalation roles. There will also be delicious food options, impressive vendors, and a refreshing lemonade stand available.

Through the experience of living in many different cities and states throughout childhood, I’m very familiar with adaptability and maintaining strong communication and relationship-building skills. I’m very organized, attentive, optimistic, and tech-savvy. My studies at Colorado State University gifted me with experiences and lessons I will forever cherish. I developed many strategic writing, editing, and reporting skills within the modern world of journalism. My Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Media Studies allowed me to excel in my writing abilities and develop video editing, filming, and production skills. When it comes to work experience, I have had valuable journalism experience conducting interviews and writing articles for the music media publication Heard It Here First for over a year. I also work as a sales and brand representative for MP3 Magazine, a digital and print publication highlighting music, people, and experience. With both companies, I am also responsible for scheduling and developing content for their social media accounts, helping to increase audience engagement with creative and strategic content creation. My contributions to these companies have allowed me to travel to many events across the United States as a press person and media reporter, posting on social platforms for promotion and writing event reviews featuring interviews. It's my overall goal to work in the music industry to help artists grow and reach their professional goals and create safe creative spaces for artists to thrive within their craft. My writing, social media, and press experience have gifted me powerful connections and showcased my passion for journalism which I want to share with the world. I believe my talents and experience will lead me to success and have put me in a position to be a strong addition and member of any team.
