It seems that Bandcamp continues to make the transition quickly towards being one of the best, if not the best, of the music streaming services on the market. Their Bandcamp Fridays, where they waive their revenue share for artists on the first Friday of every month, has been met with huge success. We here at Electric Hawk are big supporters of the platform. The living wages it attempts to pay artists in a time when the majority of music platforms fail to do so are one of the things keeping artistry alive.

On Bandcamp Fridays, an average of 93% of your money reaches the artist/label… When you make a purchase on any other day of the month an average of 82% reaches the artist/label. Every day is a good day to directly support artists on Bandcamp!

Continuing to push the envelope, they have announced that they are now supporting the queue feature. You can use this feature to listen to all of your music libraries without any interruption. Here’s to hoping this is a sign of a more cohesive music experience that brings the artist’s music directly to its listeners. Bandcamp is proving that they are the hero we have always needed.

All you need to do to start using Bandcamp for hours of music streaming is just go to your collection and Tap-and-hold on the items you want to add to your listening queue. Includes the shuffle feature if you want to throw the entire collection on. Music listening forever, and this comes completely guilt-free. You can sleep well knowing that you are doing the right thing by listening to your favorite artists, on our lord and savior, Bandcamp. And don’t forget to check out the next Bandcamp Friday on March 4th!
