Yoko unleashed Part I of her senior album, Vantage Point, in February 2026. After what has felt like a snowy eternity, one month has passed, and we have all been on the edge of our seats for Part II. As winter slowly fades into spring, Part II has gone live. This is a sublime way to welcome the beginning of March and the turning of the season.

โI hope that listeners can be transported into a similar scape that I wrote the song from. I definitely welcome whatever springs forward from their own imagination and experiences, and I love hearing all the various stories of where my music has taken listeners. I think thatโs a big reason why I try to focus on a sort of storytelling, or set narrative when I am writing music. If I can set the scene for listeners and catalyst them into an otherworldly idea, then I feel that Iโve done my job.โ
– Yoko
Part II of Vantage Point is an emotive masterpiece, providing a window into Yoko’s inner universe.
Surfing waves of synth, “Circulate” guides us along a mysterious current as the first song of Part II. Glitchy and commandeering, it beatboxes along the shores of pulsating bass. It promptly gears up to start ripping sonic tears through time, goading the listener along the torrent. The song catches a groove in the latter half that lands into drippy modules alongside warped energy. The circulating glitches fill the sails of the song, leading to places on faraway shores.
The second song is aptly named “Disruptor.” Glitch-laden vocal manipulations are laced together with wide, distorted bass. After getting lost in circulation, Disruptor cuts into the atmosphere with laser precision. The track leads with a confident, tight saunter before unbelting voluminous glitches and absolutely demolishing the space. Disruptor is here to cause a problem, and we are glad to watch it unfold. The song has a demeanor all its own, almost as if alive within our speakers. Elastic zips shoot through sound waves, lightning until the end of the song. Bossy bass is accompanied by a rhythmic drumbeat as the song tapers to a close.

Vantage Point Part II encompasses such an elegant experience as you continue to listen
Like touching a needle to a fresh vinyl, we meet the gentle crackling of the third track. Wailing saxophone moans through the first portion of the song, taking a moment to enjoy the spotlight. Sax soon shares the stage with saucy bass, as the two dance together in a harmony that would sell out Broadway. The combination is an inseparable dance pairing, perfectly in sync with their partnerโs motions. Even while distorted, the rhythm remains in step. Who needs to escape, when you can “Inscape?”
The fourth track is “Audacity,” featuring Maryland-based visionary, Limbus Luna. Piano keys trickle in, delicately guiding the song forward. Cyclical. Theatrical. Emotive. This starts as a stream of gentleness. Drums begin to march alongside classic Yoko-style glitchy vocals, while accompanying popping sounds before shifting currents into a riptide of emotion. This is a headnodder full of release, washing over our brainwaves. The elements of this track are braided together seamlessly, hand-woven with intention. The song swells into a cinematic exit, stealing our breath along the way.
Part I introduced us to this album with unyielding energy.
Part II lands the ship with vivid emotion.
Rounding out this evocative body of art is “Infinity Castle.” Textured notes quickly sprout to life. The album might be drawing to a close, but it feels like the world Yoko has created here is just beginning to awaken. Lush and expansive, Yoko is bringing forth an ecosystem where ponds flow into endless streams of layered sound design. Slow-moving glitches veer into the middle of the song, dripping into syrupy bubbles. Notes echo each other, wandering into infinity and back again. Time almost stands still in this song, as if fossilized in amber.
Vantage Point is not merely an album but an immersive experience to fully submerge yourself in. Through sound, Yoko crafts a different dimension drenched in completely unique soundscapes. Part II is dripping in emotive storytelling. Yoko is a monument to music created consciously, and we cannot wait to see what new worlds she creates for us to lose ourselves in next!
