Dubstep heavyweight Leotrix and Drum & Bass powerhouse The Caracal Project team up on a single entitled “New Lesson”. The new tune is available now on Gud Vibrations and it packs one hell of a punch. These two artists come from different ends of the electronic music spectrum, and made something truly special. The two combine the unique sounds that they are both known for and lay out an entrancing melody. In doing so, the two artists have created quite a memorable track.
The single, “New Lesson” begins with some pretty vocals that gently guide you into a thumping beat. The track builds a lot of excitement with its well-developed intro and prepares the listener for a drop that will knock them of their feet. The drop hits with crazy melodic synths from an otherworldly dimension and the groove keeps the listener engaged at every moment. For the second drop, Leotrix and The Caracal Project showcase expansive talents in their collaboration, and it is nothing short of phenomenal.
Leotrix has been putting in a lot of work, and it clearly shows in the final product.
Recently, he has put out multiple new tracks over the past couple months on behemoth labels such as Never Say Die and Subtronics’ new label, Cyclops Recordings. Additionally, The Caracal Project has been nothing short of excellent as well. The drum & bass phenom released a song on the Mission Compilation from Noisia’s record Label, VISION recordings, and a two-track EP that was released last month. The two artists are on top of their game and their collaboration, “New Lesson” is really something special.
