In June of 2023, downtown Clearwater’s newest live music and event venue, The BayCare Sound, made its grand debut. Shifting focus in the music scene from indoor clubs to accessible, outdoor venues, The BayCare Sound exudes innovation.
As of late, the venue has booked a string of electronic shows that have been nothing short of successful.
The BayCare Sound is pushing the boundaries of what it is to experience electronic music. Before the opening of this venue, the Clearwater area lacked a local venue that could maintain bookings for large-scale acts. The venue is in a wonderful waterside location and is one of the only places where live music can be consistently enjoyed in an outdoor environment in the Clearwater area. Alongside the general ambiance curated, The BayCare Sound boasts an incredible sound system that projects wonderfully throughout each corner. Overall, the venue leaves nothing to be desired regarding sound quality and vibes.
All About The BayCare Sound
The BayCare Sound kicked off its entrance to the electronic scene by booking a fan favorite, Of the Trees, and it was possibly one of the most impressive entry points into the market, even more so considering the venue had just recently opened its doors. This show set the tone for what fans can expect from an electronic event at this venue and gave fans a taste of having a consistent outdoor space that provides a similar atmosphere to a small-scale festival during each show. Since their inaugural electronic show, the BayCare Sound has thrown successful events with the likes of Lane8, and has upcoming shows you won’t want to miss.
The opening of this astounding venue marks an incredible shift in the way fans consume live music on a larger scale. While it is large, boasting a 9,000 capacity, it still maintains an aura of intimacy, making it a music lover’s fantasy. Alongside this, having the opportunity to see your favorite artists in a hometown setting is an unmatched experience.
With the rise of electronic music into the mainstream, venues that can support the growing need for live music are needed now more than ever.
Liquid Stranger’s Revolution Tour
The venue will continue to expand on its electronic repertoire by welcoming freeform-experimental artist Liquid Stranger for his Clearwater debut on May 3rd during his only Florida stop on the current Revolution tour. For this stop on the Revolution tour, the BayCare Sound and Liquid are bringing an incredibly stacked lineup. The one-night run will include sets from Shlump, Gardella, and a back-to-back set from TVBOO and Jansten. Tickets for the event are on sale now, hurry!
