Traplords and Trap Queens rejoice for the dopest addition to your birthday playlist because this new track “not my birthday” by msft. checks off all the boxes.
I had the pleasure of seeing msft. live at a Future Gardens show, an event company in NYC that highlights up-and-coming trap, future bass, and hip-hop artists. I immediately could tell he was an artist we all need to keep an eye on.
What can we expect next from this emerging Italian trap producer?
I love the 85-100 bpm range and def my upcoming releases will fit in that tempo range. I’m going to experiment a bit more with grooves, swing and percussion switch ups because it’s fun, haha.
If you check this Italy-based beatmaker’s Soundcloud you’ll see remixes of legendary trap artists like HU₵₵I & Stööki Sound, Ekali, Bauuer, and more. If you’re in turn up mode at the pregame, msft. tracks are what everyone will be lowkey Shazaaming on the side.
I'm so stoked to see @stookisound live in two weeks. It will be their last show ever as Stooki Sound and I can't wait to trap hug them

Now onto the track… everyone knows 50 cent’s “In Da Club.” If you haven’t said, “Go shawty, it’s yo birthday. We gonna party like it’s yo birthday” in the last decade… you’re lying.
msft.’s “not my birthday” gets grimy real quick with aggressive bass drops and 50 cent’s syrup-slowed iconic lyrics on repeat.
When I asked why he decided to make the banger, he humbly said,
I don’t have any particular insights for the track. I made it in more or less 20 hours and it was the first time I didn’t get tired of it after two days of listening and working on it.
