MEMBA gives us all that we’ve longed for with a beautifully constructed melodic track on their latest release “Meet Freedom”. Wrapping you in airy sounds and rich vocals, this single is a departure from MEMBA’s staple heavy trap tracks and we couldn’t love it more.
MEMBA teams up with mysterious British vocalist Levus Alone to create this emotionally-surged track that brings together the best of their trap beats and a beautiful downtempo sound.
“Meet Freedom” is not a far throw from some of the more melodic tracks we got on their 2019 masterpiece, SAGA-II, letting our serotonin flow and releasing our softer sides.
This is MEMBA’s breakout single of 2020, released through Odesza’s Foreign Fam collective, showing us that they are an extremely versatile duo. This track is heavenly, a perfect departure from their other more heavy-hitting trap tracks while creating something that still fits well into their portfolio of bangers. It can be the soundtrack to a midnight highway ride, or the first play to begin your day. The opening vocals “call me for the storm tonight, fuck who you came with, who you brought tonight” immediately puts you in the mood to feel all the emotions.
