We got some new bonafide downtempo beats for you birds. Lowcation and Curra’s latest track, “Dragonflies,” will help you decompress and start your week right. Releasing on Sacred Hive, this dyad of beatific tones and ominous basslines hone in on something deep within the listener.
You will find yourself carried through a dark, musical realm with only the fluttering deep hums of dragonflies. They do an excellent job of mixing both seemingly dark emotional tones with a sense of peace looming on the other side.
These two are definitely ones to watch for, I have no doubt you will be seeing them more again
Still riding off the high from performing at Sound Haven, Lowcation has been putting in work. He recently released on Josh Teed’s Gravitas Release, showing his versatility in sound design.

While Curra has been taking the scene by storm and performing at this year’s Imagine Festival in Atlanta. If you get the chance, be sure to check them out! You will not be disappointed.

September is National Suicide Prevention Month. Year-round, there need to be discussions over suicidal thoughts and mental health conditions. However, September offers a dedicated time to come together and learn or share strength about a heavy topic. The National Alliance on Mental Illness exists as a source containing information to raise awareness about suicidal thoughts and mental health crises. More people carrying the knowledge and tools will help more family members and loved ones down the line.
