Halcyon and Space Yacht have teamed up for their first-ever live stream event to support someone very near and dear to our community. This stream was originally supposed to be supporting Yakz, who just recently was diagnosed with a life-threatening gum disease. But, with help from this incredible community, his donation goal has been met. Halcyon and Space Yacht have now shifted focus to another legend, Cookie Monsta. This event will now be raising money for Cookie Monsta’s family as they try to get through this tragic loss. Take time to join us on November 15th and show your support!
Tony Cook, better known as Cookie Monsta, was taken from us far too soon on October 2nd at the age of 31. Not only did he leave behind a dubstep legacy, but he also left behind his wife and son Olly (the mini monsta.) The whole community continues to grieve with this family and now is the time to show support.
Bringing us full stage production from Social Sanctuary in Los Angeles, this event will have you feeling fully emerged in a live show again.
Not only are the proceeds going to an amazing cause, but the line up is also frickin’ STACKED, yo. Featuring names you know and love, including polyriddim star, phonon. As well as one of my personal favorites, Aweminus, you’ll be locked in for the full night. Tune in early, stay late. Rumor has it- Svdden Death is premiering his new, more melodic side for us as well. The event will be streamed on Youtube and Twitch starting at 6 PM PST!
While the livestream has switched it’s focus, there’s still GoFundMe created for donations to Yakz as well!
