‘Cyborg’ is a Phillip K. Dick novel melted down and digitized into a 3 and a half minute MONSTER. After his killer EP ‘Outer Beings‘, the ooky, spooky, kooky Halloween released ‘All Seeing Eye Vol. 1‘, and the sluttiest remix of ‘Boyz N Da Hood‘ ever made. We knew Toronto’s own, Krilla was a name to watch out for. TL;DR Cyborg honks, period.
I’ve been sitting on this track since last June because it was always special to me and needed the right time to release it. Wouldn’t want another song to follow up my EP tbh, I’m very proud of this one. Wanted to keep a central theme on this track and cyborgs have always intrigued me. I wanted to create a whole track that immerses you into the world of cyborgs and technology but keep the classic wonky krill taste to it. I hope listeners enjoy this track as much I enjoyed producing it.

Like think Paul Blart: Robocop, with all the cool laser guns and futurebob-esque chrome but… on a Segway.
‘Cyborg‘ sounds like what we imagine that neck plug that would put Neo in the matrix tastes like. Sweet, sweet data. Krilla’s glitched and flipped bass transported us straight into a dark and dirty downtown scene where we’re on the run from a robot augmented police force. Like think Paul Blart: Robocop, with all the cool laser guns and futurebob-esque chrome but… on a Segway. The vocal samples and evolving melodic line make this densely packed gem shine. Each re-listen comes with a new element to focus on. This track is going to get washed during fest season more times than the showers we’ve taken after the second drop’s switch up.
If you don’t know Krilla now, you will in a couple months. Listen to ‘Cyborg’ below!
