For the first time ever, Yoko and Inspectah team up to create an impressive track, “Dazzle.“ This will be the last sneak peek at Yoko’s forthcoming album, set to release on New Year’s Day. Using both of their musical talents, this collaboration came together beautifully. So, it’s our pleasure to introduce the exclusive premiere of “Dazzle.”
Yoko has certainly been on fire this year with an abundance of releases and performances. Sharing her sound nationwide has made her a recognizable name in the bass music community. Brooding soundscapes and hefty bass are two of Yoko’s specialties.
Hailing from the underground, Inspectah shines with his intricate sound design and high-energy rhythms. With releases on labels such as Presently Lifted and Aspire Higher, he is truly a force to be reckoned with. Halftime is one of Inspectah’s best genres, making him the perfect addition to Yoko’s soon-to-come album.
“Dazzle” is the pair’s first collab, but hopefully not the last.
Straightaway, we’re captivated by the song’s upbeat prelude! The buoyant beeps and boops flutter in chaos while we are eager to hear what’s next. One of our favorite elements is how the deep, eloquent vocals match the rumbling tempo. Our ride along the smooth bassline gets interrupted by a mysterious interlude until we’re introduced again to the chaotic tones and accents. Yoko’s and Inpsectah’s expertise in creating such elaborate tracks with massive bass is evident.
