Nestled deep into Livingston, Kentucky’s verdant forests and rolling hills is Rockcastle Riverside, a stunning campground. Teeming with life and natural beauty, these beloved grounds are hosting the highly-anticipated Wonky Woods Festival!
Wonky Woods is a first-year multi-genre festival. The festival emphasizes connection, not crowds. Attendance is capped at 2,500 people, making that sentiment loud and clear. Built around one primary stage, the event is designed to create a more communal environment for attendees. Rather than sprinting across the venue from stage-to-stage-to-stage, attendees are able to orbit the same stage all weekend and greet their neighbors easier. The dancefloor is meant to be shared, and Wonky Woods is the perfect place to groove with a new friend.
The intention is to connect with community through sound. What better way than with a multi-genre lineup curated to keep the energy rolling through the weekend?
We’ve selected five artists that you simply can’t miss during the inaugural Wonky Woods Festival, 2026!

Humandala
For those starting their weekend on Thursday, Humandala is closing out that night. Any fans of glitch-heavy bass, twisted textures, and sounds out of left-field should be at this set. Humandala crafts sets that test the limits of genres and push the barriers of sound. Humandala has played notable festivals like Infrasound, Resonate, and Sound Haven. He is the final act for the early-arrival crew, so we have a feeling he is not going to hold back on melting minds!

Mayple
Mayple is a Michigan-based artist that uses his skills to create lush atmospheres for his listeners. He has played festivals from his home state of Michigan all the way to Colorado! Never conforming rigidly to one specific style or sound, Mayple embodies the meaning of “freeform” with his artistry. He has played direct support for acts such as Thought Process, ATTYA, Daggz, and Crawdad Sniper. His original tracks give listeners a taste of his range. Whether it’s heavy-hitters or pensive, slower tunes, Mayple is sure to create a set that is the perfect start to Friday by the river!

Chmura
Another set not to miss on Friday is Chmura. Chmura is a producer we have had our eyes on for a long while over here at Electric Hawk. He has a unique style that seems to come to him effortlessly. Playing events such as Shambala, Electric Forest, and soon Secret Dreams, his sets never fail to get the crowd engaged. His sets reach deep into the earth with bass you feel in your chest, while also creating an organic soundscape that still feels emotive.

Detre
For low-end enjoyers, 140 enthusiasts, and those who have a taste for touches of trap, Detre is where you should plant yourself Saturday evening. Detre is a producer from Detroit that designs bold, sturdy bass. He has played support for artists such as Caspa, Peekaboo, and Ternion Sound. A Detre set is full of biting basslines and tracks that don’t hold back. As the sun goes down, this is the set that will bring the energy up!

DRRTYWULVZ
Saturday is in for an absolute auditory treat with a set by DRRTYWULVZ. Known for his crisp production that makes every sound system howl and his experimental sound design, he is a master of conjuring one of a kind music. His track selections during sets are very intentional, and blend seamlessly together. DRRTYWULVZ takes a late night time-slot at Wonky Woods and we know it is one that will captivate the audience. For nearly two decades, he has been blessing the ears of listeners with his music and we are counting down the hours until it’s time for him to plug in!
Our hand-picks are only a portion of the full lineup for the weekend. With a variety of genres, sounds, and energies, it is set to be a weekend filled to the brim with amazing music from beginning to end. The amazing crew of Oni Sound will be deploying their Danley Sound Labs speakers, graciously providing clear sound and heavy bass for the festival.
This festival is centered around connection and community. The attendance cap may seem small, but that is where those magical festival moments happen that are cherished forever. Expect art installations, chill zones, vendors, and more to explore.
This weekend, we encourage you to dip in the river, talk to a stranger, and dance with someone new!
