Celebrating the New Year is historically known as our way to acknowledge our progress, reflect, and start anew. Our festivities wouldn’t be complete without music, friends, and, of course, the underground. Denver wraps up 2023, offering a variety of events to cater to any walk of EDM. Although there’s an overwhelming amount to choose from, it’s a no-brainer for us to hit The Black Box for this year’s four-day sound bender. The four days cover all bases, with a night of hip-hop from all:Lo Collective, two nights of Halogenix, and the classic Widdler NYE.

all:Lo Collective is known for their hip-hop-inspired sound, jazzy elements, and lo-fi beats. The collective is defined by artists like pheel., parkbreezy, Tf Marz, and Thought Process. Kicking off the four-day celebration, all:Lo pays respect to legendary producers that influenced their style with a blast into hip-hop history.

Sub.mission’s Halogenix takeover
Sub.mission never ceases to disappoint, consistently bringing the most notable line-ups to The Black Box. To conclude the year, they present two nights of Halogenix, accompanied by roaring support from Monty and Hyroglifics. Halogenix’s distinct production resides at 170 BPM, with an infusion of soulful roots and high-tempo sonics. Supported by different artists each evening, the two-night Halogenix headline is sure to deliver a wide range of DnB frequencies.

The sold-out NYE with The Widdler
The Widdler is no stranger to The Black Box’s New Year’s Eve events. This year, the dub producer returns to his NYE home base with support from AxH and Subculture. Anxiously anticipating the sold-out evening, ticket holders prepare to ring in the new year with dark soundscapes, rumbling bass, and deep dubstep.
