Submersion Festival returns in 2022 with an absolute bang. After putting on an impressive event in 2021 featuring Supertask, Potions, Daily Bread, and more, the festival is back and bigger than ever. The first phase of the 2022 lineup was officially announced April 25th; not only is it significantly larger than 2021, but it also features some of the best names we have seen on a US lineup this year. Founded by Aspire Higher and The Rust Music, Submersion sets up to be huge.

With a unique lineup and several special sets, Submersion Festival is bound to go off.

Taking place October 7th & 8th, Submersion is the perfect festival to kick off the fall. The headliners are impressive and different from what we have been seeing. The first stand out is Koan Sound, who will make their long-awaited return to the US with two sets, including their first ever sunrise set. Then, of course, the beloved Deep, Dark, & Dangerous bossmen Truth and fan-favorite Daily Bread are sure to draw in a crowd. The headliners also feature some UK legends in Kahn & Neek as well as Luke Vibert, who will also be playing a Wagon Christ set. While Kahn & Neek will provide the powerful dubstep bassline, Luke Vibert will show off his unique versatility across multiple genres including techno, drum ‘n’ bass, and more.

The undercards are no slouch either. 5am Trio bringing that neuro-funk. Bogtrotter will put an absolute clinic in on the turntables. Of course, Bricksquash is set to blow out the speakers in the best way. And all of that is just the first line! The festival will also feature a special cHILL sMTH set, two DMVU sets, the legend Fixate, and a VCTRE ‘chill set.’. Some more talents in the US underground scene such as Zen Selekta, Easyjack, Inspect3r, and many more will join, as well. From top to bottom, this lineup is huge, and there is one more mystery headliner to come.
