If you are a sucker for a track that can instantly make you forget about reality, raise your hand. You can’t see, but we are raising both of ours. The budding electronic producers Rome in Silver and Tails have teamed up on an unreal track. Out now on Monstercat, “Forever,” is destined to take you to another world.
The pairing of Rome in Silver and Tails could not be any more ideal.
Currently based in California, Vinny Pisciotta, better known as Rome in Silver has been on our radar for some time now. In fact, you may recognize some of his tunes played in Kasbo’s Cry/Dance Mix Vol. 2 or recent CloZee sets! His glitchy, experimental, trap-influenced bass is nothing short of danceable and fun. Rome in Silver’s extremely unique and genre-bending style blends seamlessly with fellow producer Tails. So, if you are unfamiliar with the Canadian, forward-thinking songwriter and producer, it is time to get familiar. Tails brings all the ethereal, smooth, and sparkling vibes to the table. He has done official remixes for both Louis The Child and San Holo if that helps paint a picture for you! Basically, Rome in Silver and Tails are a musical match made in heaven.
“Forever” is Rome in Silver’s first collaboration in 6 years.
Both Rome in Silver and Tail’s individual sounds are highlighted perfectly in “Forever.” In an Instagram post, Rome in Silver states that the track is about “Surrendering to the unknown.” Considering this was his first collaboration in 6 years AND was done over Zoom, he definitely did just that. The light-hearted track showcases the evolution of Rome in Silver’s sound with a warming twist of lyrics from Tails. We are beyond impressed with the beautiful melodies, chill ballads, and even the touch of flute heard throughout. “Forever” is the uplifting track we all needed this fall!
We hope you enjoy Rome in Silver and Tails’ collaboration track “Forever” as much as we do. You can stream it everywhere now!
