PEEKABOO and Zeds Dead Unleash New Collab ‘POWA’

Hot off the heels of the Lost Tapes Volume 1, Zeds Dead turned around and delivered us another gift with PEEKABOO called POWA.” This Deadbeats collaboration is like a warm pot of stew on a cold winter day with many interesting samples stirred in. I even found one of Hooks’ hairs in my bowl, I still ate it.

These artists may have spoopy names, but it’s the holiday season, and they just gave us a nicely wrapped present.

The Canadian duo and the Michiganian really stunted on us with this one. Vocal and drum patterns kick this sizzler off, with sirens reverberating in the background. And oh lordy, the flavors in the drops are some that even Gordan Ramsay would respect. A dash of a rave stab, a pinch of a wavy lead, and an entire handful of thick basslines will fill bellies and satisfy taste buds.

Even Pasqualle Rotella was jamming tf out when PEEKABOO played out the track during the EDC Orlando Virtual Rave-A-Thon.

POWA caps off an already stellar 2020 from both PEEKABOO and Zeds Dead. I mean, c’mon, we got masterpieces such as We Are Deadbeats. Vol. 4, “Here With Me,” and “POWERMOVE.” We may just be days away from the end of the year, but could we get another surprise from either artist? Find out next time on theelectrichawk.com.
