I usually don’t go to sleep until 10 AM, but before I go to bed I usually make myself a cold glass of coconut milk, turn on the stereo system, and do a slow dance with my girlfriend to Pax Impera and his new tune, “Nightsong.” Let’s dive into the track, and the exclusive interview we did with him on our podcast, Electric Talk!
This latest single from the Pax man provides listeners with the necessary brain bustin’ bass that could fuel a blue-origin rocket to the moon. We’re introduced to “Nightsong” with some piano chords and a whole lotta percussion. Then that satisfying rise with the vocal chops drops us off into the bass abyss forever. The drops are especially spicy and are absolutely necessary to be played on a stack of PKs or Funktion-One’s. You can see the air drums being played on the rail as Mr. Impera blows our minds with Paximum effort.

But wait, who is this man known as Paxwell Impera?
Well, reader of this article, your eyes may be feasting on this review of his new song, but your ears need to be blessed with the sound of Pax Impera’s soothing voice box. You’re in luck, because our own Tony Hawk impersonator, Tony, and the B himself, Sean, spoke 2 on 1 with Pax. The producer hopped on Electric Talk to speak his mind about his beginnings, middles, and bright future. Does a project called Divinitee ring a bell? How about remixes on tracks for the likes of Flume, Zeds Dead, and Ganja White Night? What does he think about Taco Bell’s new menu? How about Snow Globes? Does he have NGHTMRE’s? You’ll just have to listen as Paxwell unpacks his career and opens up his smooth brain to us for yourself.

During October, we also recognize National Sarcastic Awareness Month. Obviously, this is a massive cause for celebration. At Electric Hawk, we know how tough the world can be to the sarcastic. We recommend sending half of your paychecks to the most sarcastic person you know, then thanking them for their service.
