Naturally, it is hard not to cause a ruckus with LMNOP & Alfred Nomad and their new single “Keep It Down,” released on January 5th through Play Me Records. LMNOP and his puppet alter ego, LIL Z, tag team with the Los Angeles-based emcee to produce an electrifying anthem to start the year! Immediately giving everyone a tool on how to teach certain people to “keep it down” while the speakers are blasting.

While we stand in the middle of the crowd, we are swarmed by the multitude of voices loudly spreading words. We hear the reverberating sonics seep through the nerves and feel our heart rate rising. As a result, we begin to hone in on the message from Alfred Nomad through his engaging lyricism. Now, fully engaged in the reality of why we are even entertaining the thought of all the bullsh*t that the mouths are speaking. The duo opens our eyes to the true colors of who we surround ourselves with. And through LMNOP’s energetic drum and bass elements and Alfred Nomad’s booming lyrics, it becomes easier for us to tell everyone to keep it down.
Nonetheless, LMNOP and Alfred Nomad deliver a bouncing tune that amplifies any sound system. “Keep It Down” becomes that track to all the haters in our lives who continuously run their mouths that we just want to be silent. It’s a very effective anthem that allows anyone to walk through their lives and block out all the negativity with ease. LMNOP and Alfred Nomad are keeping that pessimistic energy in 2023, with no room for it now in 2024. So, “Keep It Down” is that reminder for us as we start the year with a fresh slate!
