It seems as though GRiZ has been staying busy during quarantine. We’ve had his and Wreckno’s latest LGBTQ+ anthem “Medusa” on repeat since it dropped, and it looks like he still has more up his sleeve.

Over the past week, he has graced our feeds with several samples of what he’s been experimenting with in the studio… and if we had to choose one word to sum it up, it would be funk. GRiZ has been COOKIN, and the main ingredient is sax, baby.

He has also teased the possibility of multiple upcoming collaborations, including ones with Gramatik, Blunts & Blondes, CloZee, and Ganja White Night.

Could an old school, electro soul GRiZ track come to the light of day in 2020? At this point, anything can happen. Either way, we’re loving seeing him go back to his roots and we can’t wait for what’s in store!

Keep up with GRiZ
