“With this EP, I wanted to invite my listeners to dive deeper into the story I’m weaving with my music. I’ve given them a taste through my first two EP’s, ‘Metamorphosis’ and ‘Cataclysm,’ but here I decided to use the element of spoken word to introduce them to the core concepts behind Austeria. There is a reoccurring theme throughout all three EPs, a theme of growth and empowerment through shadow work. ‘Into the Unknown’ is the chapter following ‘Cataclysm,’ the moment after a monumental shift in your life where you choose to let go of fear and journey into the unknown. This journey is open to interpretation and there is much to explore, I invite you to listen to this next chapter of Austeria with these concepts in mind. ”

Immediately, we stumble into the cinematic introduction that Austeria crafts to set the tone of what we are about to encounter as we step “Into The Unknown.” The outerworldly voice and chimes guide us through the unfamiliar, haunting realm. While we settle ourselves into the shadowy soundscapes, we suddenly begin to feel the rush from the transitional drop of the track. Austeria unleashes a wave of sonic weight that pulses and consumes us as we feel the deep and distorted tones alter our minds. And as the vibrations begin to settle, we begin to notice a sense of “Chasm” occurring.
Now, encountering the fissure that comes with existing in this world. The dense atmosphere wraps around us, as the soft vocals remind us to surrender and allow the unknown to consume us. Ready to fully embrace the mind-disorienting drop that fractures our reality. Pulling us into a warped sonic abyss where clarity dissolves and transformation begins, this is where we begin to “Falling Further” into the darkness. Finally, to close out the transformative piece from Austeria, she brings us a more healing and comforting piece. As we arrive towards the end of our journey, we fully feel the shift amongst ourselves as we conquer our own fears and allow ourselves to take on this next chapter.
