Sylph makes a powerful return with “System,” offering a striking glimpse of everything she’s been building. The track pulls listeners into a magnetic, high-pressure soundscape. With booming bass and electrifying synth work that feels like a full sensory reset. Naturally, “System” serves as a thrilling sneak peek of what’s to come ahead of her headline show at The Black Box at the end of May.

“The main riff appeared as a happy accident during a sound design session. Using a similar sound palette to my track Mercuria, and a similar mindset, I threw out preconceived notions of genres, quality or fitting into some kind of box. There’s an added vulnerability releasing music like this, but it’s also the most personal and satisfying. To me, “System” is a tense, dark and futuristic love letter to frisson.”
