New music Friday always has some great gems. This week, we get the biceps of EDM with some more muscle added on. After months of teasers, SLANDER and SVDDEN DEATH give us “Blood On Me.”

Separate, they hover in their own spectrum of electronic music. Together, they are powerful unlike anyone else. Our SLANDER boys are known for being one of the few leaders of #teamsadboi – making us either headbang or text our exes. SVDDEN DEATH, on the other head, is one of our favorite goobers who specializes in chopping up some nice riddim for dinner.

“Blood On Me” was dropped during the Bassrush livestream that took place back in May. Months later and we finally have it in our hands. The song opens up with a funky beat that can be heard as the baseline for the entirety of it. Minutes into the song, luscious female vocals blend in. The vocals carries the listener towards the climax, where things take a turn. This track is the perfect example of SLANDER’s melodic side with a splash of SVDDEN DEATH’s dubstep influence.

Even though this pandemic has set a halt to various shows, these artists have used it to their potential. Just like others, they have jumped into the virtual world, which has worked great for them. SVDDEN DEATH and SLANDER’s “Blood On Me” is one of many collabs both artists have up their sleeves and we cannot wait to see who else they have worked with.
